Evening Classes

After popular demand, Iโ€™ll be running a course of 4, fortnightly evening classes in St. Leonardโ€™s lovely Bus Stop Studios throughout April and May.

Iโ€™m keeping it as fluid and accessible as possible, so I will have a specific topic each week you can opt in as a one off, or do the full course.

Likewise, if youโ€™re just looking to work on your own lino progress, feel free to use it as a drop in and I can help where I can ๐Ÿ™

Classes will be 6.30pm- 8.30pm with limited availability as usual, so book nice and early in the link (see left).

Dates and Info:

30th April- Creative Print Design

This weekโ€™s focus will be on how to design and plan a print. Weโ€™ll spend the session designing and cutting a piece to print in the following session, with a focus on learning how to go about designing the outcome weโ€™re looking for.

(Please note, we wonโ€™t be using ink or printing this week if youโ€™re planning to drop in).

14th May- Experimenting with ink

This week weโ€™ll be exploring different techniques for the printing stage, including playing around with โ€˜blind-printsโ€™, and different materials to create different textures. Letโ€™s get experimental!

28th May- Free play with colour!

A more free session to create a design or use one from a previous week to explore printing in colour! Weโ€™ll be using a variety of mixing our own inks, creating rainbow, gradient prints, and using block colours of different inks on different sections of lino to create fun, colourful prints to celebrate the end of the course!
